ICE71 Accelerate is a three-month accelerator programme for early-stage cybersecurity startups, designed to help startups achieve a product market fit in a unique technical and demanding industry.

The programme is run by CyLon, a leading European cybersecurity accelerator. Since launching in 2015, CyLon has accelerated over 50 cybersecurity startups, some currently working with major global companies, governments and world leading investors.

ICE71 Accelerate cohorts go through an intensive training curriculum, to sharpen their companies’ value proposition, go to-market strategies, commercial models and business strategies. Participants will receive capital funding and have access to the co-working space within ICE71. Tapping into our ICE71 community, each cohort will have access to mentors, networking events and workshops, go-to-market channels, and enterprise grade cybersecurity resources such as a cyber-range, to test and showcase their solutions.

Why join ICE71 Accelerate?

Funding: ICE71 makes an investment of S$30,000 in return for up to 6% stake in each participating startup. This funding allows each team to commit fully to the three-month programme, and focus on building their technology and their company. Teams will be introduced to a variety of other funding opportunities throughout the programme, from private investors to government grants. The programme concludes with a Demo Day where companies pitch to a range of leading investors and potential customers.

Training: Our curriculum covers both the challenges and opportunities encountered by early stage cybersecurity companies. It includes everything from business fundamentals and recruitment to product pricing and technical training. Three days a week, participants gain access to workshops, individual mentoring, a pool of entrepreneurs and experts to support their growth.

Network and Community: ICE71 Accelerate startups will have the opportunity to work closely with our mentors, industry experts and corporate members to innovate, develop proof of concepts and go-to-market strategies. In addition, they enjoy access to our leading network of investors, corporates and mentors, spanning Singapore, Asia and globally through the ICE71 community.

Facilities and Resources: Located in Block71 within JTC Launchpad @ one-north, the heart of Singapore’s innovation cluster of technology startups, each startup will have access to full office facilities and connectivity. Additionally, each startup will have the opportunity to validate ideas, build proof-of-concept, showcase products in a virtual environment and access enterprise grade cybersecurity resources such as a cyber-range.

Who should apply for ICE71 Accelerate?
ICE71 Accelerate targets early stage cybersecurity startups. Though our programme is particularly suitable for companies who already have an early stage product or service developed, we welcome applications from both concept-stage startups and later-stage businesses who may benefit from the access to partners, mentoring, and investors we offer. We accept companies from all over the world, but require all founders to participate in person, in Singapore, for the duration of the three-month programme.
What cybersecurity startups are we looking for?
We aim to help founders build commercial businesses that deliver outstanding information security technology. Due to the dynamic nature of cybersecurity we welcome applications from any company that fits these criteria. We are particularly interested in but not bound by areas of ICS / SCADA, Advanced Endpoint, Network and Cloud security, IoT Security, Threat and Vulnerability management, Identity and Access Management, Incident Response and Digital Forensics and other fast-growing technologies.
