Live Webcast: From Hollywood to Real Life – The Threat of Drones

Live Webcast: From Hollywood to Real Life – The Threat of Drones

Start Date: 18 Aug 2020 | End Date: 18 Aug 2020

Time : 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM

This ICE71 Expert Series webcast will cover the whole gamut of security within the context of drones. Drones can be hacked into, hardened and used for offensive engagements in red teams, pen testing, contraband deliveries to prisons and even terrorism. It strings together the areas of InfoSec and Physical-Kinetics into one crazy, hovering laptop. This is a primer into understanding all forms of Drone Security, including forensics and incident response, counter-drone measures and threat intelligence to predict and prevent nefarious drone use against civilians.

What you’ll learn:

You will walk away with a good understanding of malicious innovation in the field and how incidents have shaped the drone, construction and law enforcement industry. You will understand the basics of how drones work and communicate, and how that makes them vulnerable to traditional cybersecurity attack vectors. You will understand how different counter-drone systems work and why they are all so unique; including those that use cybersecurity to defend against rogue drone systems.

Who should attend:

  • Cybersecurity enthusiasts and professionals looking to understand IoT
  • Technologists and executives looking to understand interconnected and unmanned systems
  • Students looking for new, niche or ground-breaking technology avenues of work
  • Industry or corporates that have a drone program, or face drone threat problems
